One of the most-looked-for announcements for this Christmas is not related to Shrek, Harry Potter, or Spiderman, but is the Amazon “Kindle” ebook reader.
The specifications appear to be: base price $399, 6-inch screen, WiFi, and a touch screen. It stores 200 books on internal memory, and runs a version of Linux.
Amazon will be announcing special pricing and distribution of major books in the ebook format in time for the holidays.

Serus will be presenting a case study on using enterprise mashups in outsourced manufacturing at the Enterprise 2.0 Mashups Summit in San Francisco on Friday, September 28th.
Other companies presenting include Google, IBM, StrikeIron, Salesforce.com, Mashery, and JackBe.
Fabless IC Technology Handbook is Released August 12, 2007

Serus is very pleased to have been chosen to contribute material to the new handbook “Understanding Fabless IC Technology”, written by Evert Wolsheimer and members of the Fabless Semiconductor Association. It is available here on Amazon.
Serus contributed material for Chapter 8.5 on the information ecosystem.
